Significantly, there are more Middle Class and Rich households in boom towns/niche cities of the state followed by rest of urban. While boom town/ niche cities in the state have moved up the income ladder, emerging rural and left-behind rural are capturing a larger proportion of the Destitute households - 72 per cent and 16 per cent, respectively.
