A large proportion of Destitute and Aspirer households live in rural areas (83 percent) compared to urban areas (17 percent). There is a 67-33 percent split between urban and rural areas among Aspirer households. Nearly 48 percent of Seeker households live in the cities versus 52 percent in rural areas. On the other hand, 82 percent of super-rich households live in urban India versus only 18 percent in rural India.
