Kolkata is the top city in terms of the number of Aspirer households (Annual household income is from Rs. 1,25,000 to Rs. 5,00,000 at 2020-21 prices), Malappuram is the fastest-growing city with an annual growth of 5.1 percent between 2015-16 and 2020-21. Kozhikode which has rarely figured anywhere near the top growth cities now makes it to second place followed by Thrissur, Saharanpur, and Surat.
