Change in Household Density by Income Categories - Kerala

The state’s relative all-India rankings have remained mostly unchanged between 2015-16 and 2020-21. The density of Rich households increased from 2.6 per cent to 3.7 per cent in the period 2015-16 to 2020-21. While the share of Destitute households has dropped from 7 per cent of total households in the state in 2015-16 to 6 per cent in 2020-21, the share of Seekers has gone up from 36 per cent to 40 per cent, and Rich from 2.6 to 3.7 per cent.
