Description of PRICE Activities…
Pan India surveys (ICE 3600 Data Platform)
PRICE is committed to creating ICE360o longitudinal data platform covering all major themes of Indian Consumer Economy and Citizens Environment. In this context, PRICE has already completed three Pan India ICE360o surveys (2014, 2016 & 2021) covering about 300,000 households.
Thin round surveys for macroeconomic studies on key sector
Based on one research theme (sponsored), thin-round surveys will be conducted on sub-sample from the pan-India panel of households once in three years. Specific panel surveys across stratified geography (region, state, town class, consumer segments) are to be conducted for individual clients/industry verticals/GOI.
B2B consulting and data integration and analytics services
These are ad hoc projects done primarily for the government (policy research) or specific industry associations or large corporates. Customized research projects for individual clients are undertaken through two avenues, survey riders, customized surveys from base panels, and data mining and integrated analysis of time series data.
Collaborative research projects
Collaboration primarily with national international research institutions and imminent individual scholars/researchers including faculties, researchers, and Ph.D. students. The collaborators mobilise research grants with PRICE as the Indian partner and have access to our facilities, resources, and time series data.
Policy advocacy, seminars and conferences
PRICE continuously provides a disaggregated demand-side view of the Indian Consumer Economy and Citizens’ Environment to policymakers, manufacturers and distributors of goods and services (corporate houses) which helps in policy formulation and developing business strategies. Dissemination is done through seminars, special lectures and conferences.
Primary data-based research reports, mass market publications, and sectoral reports – available off-the-shelf and written by PRICE researchers, research partners, and industry experts using ICE360o longitudinal databases. Business briefs, occasional papers, and periodicals are also produced in-house and made available to potential stakeholders.
