Where They Live - Lakshadweep

Lakshadweep is the smallest union territory of the country and is home to about 21,000 families. The majority of households belong to the Middle Class (52 per cent) and Aspirer (38 per cent) Categories. The share of Destitute households is just 3 per cent. This is one of the second most urbanised union territory after Daman & Diu in the country where about 95 per cent households is in urban areas. Obviously, the same is reflected in the location of Rich and Middle Class as well as Destitute households.
